Bonita is the founder of Dot N Ray nonprofit organization, which was established in 1999 and is designed to inspire young adults in the urban communities of Philadelphia. She developed programming from her childhood experiences through her parents. From Salem, NJ, opportunities for structured dance and ballet didn't become available until her early 20s due to geographical change to Lindenwold, NJ and Philadelphia, PA. Bonita entered the Philadelphia arts industry after obtaining education through two modeling schools. During her ten years of education and experience, she still had a strong desire for dance and fashion. In 2004, in the art industry and by giving back to the community, Bonita guided the organization for young adults to experience the arts through The Greatest Philadelphia Performing Arts Enrichment Program. She continues to serve as a volunteer with the organization.

Bonita served other volunteer opportunities: from 2009 to 2016, she served as the Vice President Trustee of Agora Cyber Charter School in King of Prussia, PA. She also served from 2011 to 2021 as the Community Outreach Chair of the Friends of the Avenue of the Arts, the executive committee of the Avenue of the Arts, Inc., Philadelphia, PA. Also, she is a member of Fashion Group International Philadelphia and the Association of Philadelphia Tour Guides.

To date: Bonita is an Airbnb Experience Host. Catwalk on the Avenue of the Arts (a prerequisite modeling course) derived from the Avenue of the Arts in Philadelphia. The modeling sessions that provides performance space to help traveling fashion models as guests for practice time for the beginner and experienced. The sessions are geared for travel and dates available for the North Eastern Fashion Weeks during fashion months, September and February. Guests can prep for travel and castings.

With years of background as a mental health technician, Bonita completed real estate courses at the Temple University Real Estate Institute. She has become an investor in real estate to help "struggling artists". She invested her time as a consulting service in the arts and a developer for affordable housing.
